Fair play

Fair play, on and off the pitch

Unlike other platforms, PlayFives has a match organiser present at every game - they’re in charge of setting fair teams (based on individual ratings), moderating those ratings, bringing clean equipment, filming the matches where listed as recorded, and monitoring for aggression or anti-social behaviour.

Our yellow and red card system in the app lets us quickly identify and exclude players who don't represent our values, whether that's on the pitch or in our app channels.

The cards

Yellow, then red

PlayFives has a zero tolerance for aggression or anti-social behaviour. Any offence will result in either a yellow card or a red card. Only PlayFives staff can give a card, and when we do we tell you why by email.

Yellow card

A warning that doesn't result in immediate expulsion. You'll receive a notification, and explanation in-app and over email.

Two yellows

Yellow cards don't expire; two yellows will equal a red card. Your account will be closed immediately.

Red card

Your account is closed immediately. You can't play in our matches, tournaments or tours, and you can't create a new account. No exceptions.

Why we do it

Good football needs good people. The yellow card / red card system keeps PlayFives games friendly for everyone, on the pitch and in the chat. If someone isn't playing fair, you can report them from the game in the app. Violence, aggression, or serious breach of our community standards will result in immediate exclusion from PlayFives (a red card) so that we ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone else.

What we ask of everyone
